From Average to Beast.

I know exactly where you're starting from. I was in your situation. I wasn't happy with my life decisions. I wasn't happy with my health. I wasn't happy with my job. But most of all, I wasn't happy with the fact that I was allowing all this to happen.

See, I used to live a life full of disappointment, insecurities, and failures. I was chubby kid from NJ. I was not confident in high school. I failed out of Boston University’s Engineering Program. I spent countless hours working for other people, building THEIR dreams. I guess I used to be 'okay' with just being 'okay'.


It was 2003, the summer after I failed out of college. I needed to feel better about myself, and it started with doing something that would boost my self esteem. Building muscle.

I still remember slowly walking in to my local gym. People looked at me as if I didn’t belong there. I didn't care. To me this meant success or failure. Change or stagnation. Life or death.

I could keep going down the path I was on of insecurities, failure, and a whole lot of disappointment, OR I could take responsibility for my actions, and get to work.

Training? The last time I hit the weights was in high school, but even then I had no clue what I was doing due to poor coaching. I starting by doing things that I remembered from high school football. I made myself uncomfortable. I started to do things I sucked at. I sweated. I bled. I puked -- I even had to pull over on the highway once to let it out on the way home.

But after all the soreness, early morning lifting sessions, and extra conditioning, something CRAZY happened.

I went from being super-depressed, sloppily overweight and eating and drinking whatever I wanted, to dropping from 215 to 165 lbs. in my first 6 months of training. 


What I started to notice shocked me. Not only did I feel better and more confident about myself, others started treating me different because of how I looked.

Women started to notice me, and men started to change their approach when talking to me -- almost like they felt the NEED to give respect just because of how I looked.

Within the first year of my life and mindset change I became a trainer. It was my mission to help guys like you in the same situation become the biggest, strongest, and leanest man they could -- because I knew if I could do it with average genetics and a lot of hard work, than many others could too.

Over the course 12+ years I started testing and tweaking every muscle building program I could get my hands on, and have put much of this weight back on but as lean muscle mass.

Hovering between 190-200 lbs. at only 5’6”, I became 'hooked' on this muscle-building, strength training thing. It became my drug of choice. I would prep my meals, try different training methods, and test hundreds if not thousands of supplements in an effort to simplify what works and what doesn't.

I even competed in a couple bodybuilding competitions before completely shredding my ACL and meniscus in a freak football accident (but that's another story for another day).

In 2012, I opened a small, private gym where I could test these methods and coach guys who were looking for the road map to the exact same physical and mental results.

The improvements in muscle and strength in our small 'barbell club' were so effective and simple to implement that I knew I had to get them in the hands of other frustrated guys like you who can't seem to sift through a flooded industry of over-complicated programs and contradicting information.
